Now if we were basing that title off of my life, it would definitely be called the several daily mental breakdowns, but that’s not quite as catchy is it?
Don’t worry, I’m not here to tell you about any of my numerous breakdowns in great detail… I would be here all day if I did that.
I’m actually here to tell you that I’m starting a newsletter!
It’s called The Monthly Mental Breakdown, and it will be an email that lands in your inbox at the start of every month.
We’ll be talking about all things mental health. I’m hoping it’ll be an informative, uplifting wee read to start your month off right.
I think it’s important to talk about mental health as much as we possibly can. Not only will it help reduce the stigma, it’ll also help reinforce that you are absolutely not alone if you’re struggling too. I’m always here, and I’m hoping that the newsletter can help us build a nice supportive community!
So what’s the format?
At the start of every edition, I’ll give you an honest recap of how I’ve been lately. The highs and the lows. I might even give you an amusing list of things I’ve cried about that month, trust me they’re weird.
Spoiler: last week I cried because I couldn’t find my favourite pen… Why do I even have a favourite pen in the first place?!
Then… we’ll have a different guest every month, so you don’t get sick of my face! Each edition, I’ll will feature a new friendly face. You’ll get to meet a fellow sufferer (god that sounds sad doesn’t it, gotta think of a more positive phrase). You’ll get to learn a bit about them and their story, and they’ll hopefully have some words of wisdom to share with you too. I feel like there is only so much bad advice I can give, so it’ll be good to have a new perspective every single month!
I’ll also be sharing a resource or two each month. It might be a book, an app, a website, who knows! Whatever it may be, I’m hoping it’ll be something to bring some positivity into your life.
Last but not least, I’ll share a song to dance to and a song to cry to. I love music, and it is one of the big constants in my life regardless of my mood. Hence why I thought it would be nice to incorporate a bit of that into the newsletter!
The first edition will be going out on the first of April. You’ve got a few days left to sign up, so you don’t miss the first edition! If you’d like to sign up, you can click here.
If you’ve got any suggestions for what you’d like to see or who you’d like to feature in the newsletter, tell me! You can leave me a comment here or send me an email if you’d prefer.
I’m really excited to start this new venture, and I hope you are excited to come along for the ride too!
Are you all caught up? Check out my last one here.

I like “live with” instead of “suffering”. So, I live with anxiety and depression, not I’m a sufferer.
Heading over to sign up now – looking forward to the first issue!
Well that’s a much more positive alternative! I was clearly writing this on a bad day hahaha, thank you for signing up 🙂 x
