In case you’re new, Small Happy Moments is a series on my blog where I share a few things that have made me happy recently. I think it’s really important to appreciate the little moments.
Here are a few of mine…
The Sun
We may not have a summer holiday booked, but I don’t think I’ll mind if Glasgow stays this warm! The weather has been so nice the last few weeks, and I’ve been spending most of my time in Queens Park soaking up the sun.
Time To Read
I’ve been reading so much since finishing uni, and I’m loving it. It’s been really therapeutic to spend more time away from a screen! I’m currently reading through the No. 1 Lady’s Detective Series, but I’m in desperate need of more books to read so please send recommendations my way!
A Little Haircut
I’ve not been to a hairdressers in almost 2 years after a slightly traumatic haircut… I’ve been pretty unhappy with my hair and have just had to get by with trimming it myself. I’m definitely not cut out to be a hairdresser. However I finally bit the bullet and went to a hairdressers… I’m so glad I did!
Family Time
This weekend I went to my hometown to be with my family and celebrate my little brother’s birthday. We spent the day outside, eating, drinking and chatting – it was just what I needed. I don’t get to see my family as much as I’d like to, but we always have so much fun when we’re together!
Ordering A Bit Too Much Pizza
Would it really be a post from me if there wasn’t some sort of food mentioned? We recently treated ourselves to a little, okay large, Dominos to celebrate Lewis’ new job, and it was soooooo good!
What has made you happy recently? Tell me in the comments.
If you’d like to read more then don’t worry – there’s plenty more to read! Check out my last post.
I’m trying to reach 1k on Instagram by my birthday which is less than 2 weeks away now, so make sure you’re following me there too! @rbekhaj
I LOVE happiness posts like this, totally agree that they make you more appreciative! Ordering Dominos feasts was the only thing that got me through the first year of uni, they’re just too good!
Aw I’m glad you enjoy them! You really can’t beat a big Dominos order, can you? Thanks for taking the time to read and comment Lyd – really appreciate it x
