I’m always on the hunt for new make up products to try, but you won’t find me purchasing every single new release from the likes of Charlotte Tilbury and Urban Decay… I’m on a budget, and I want products that perform well for the price. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot recently. I’ve managed to find some great budget beauty buys, so I thought I’d share some of them with you!
ELF Eyebrow Pencil
I didn’t think I was an eyebrow pencil kinda gal, but this little beauty has definitely converted me. It’s only £3 and it’s honestly a miracle worker. I wish the nib was a tiny bit smaller to make the strokes look even more hairlike, but I’m definitely just being picky. Prior to this, I always used eyebrow pomade, but I can honestly say I don’t think I’ll switch this. The ELF pencil is so much quicker and I think it looks better too!
ELF Eyeshadow Stick
Clearly I’m on a ELF hype right now… These are a lazy girl’s dream product. If you want to look like you’ve made an effort but you also really can’t be bothered farcing about with eyeshadow, this is the perfect solution. I like chucking one of these on with a lil bit of bronzer in my crease.
Barry M Nude Kohl Liner
Anyone else feel like they constantly look tired? I mean I am constantly tired, so I’m not too surprised. However, this little liner is helping out much more than you’d expect. I’ve been adding it into my water line, and it’s the perfect trick for making you look a bit more awake.
Flower Beauty Radiance Foundation
Like 98% of the population, I am obsessed with Drew Barrymore. On a completely unrelated note, please watch Music and Lyrics – it’s a cheesy classic with Drew and Hugh Grant aka my dream film. Anyway when Drew’s beauty range finally came to the UK, I had to buy something. I’m loving this foundation! It doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin, but it’s definitely buildable if you want it to be! It leaves your skin looking so healthy and dewy.
Glossier Generation G Lipstick
Now this is probably the least budget friendly of the bunch, but I do think it’s worth the £14 price tag. Generation G is a sheer, matte lipstick and they are so comfortable to wear. I have the shade Cake, and it has quickly become my everyday shade. I’m desperate to buy a few more shades!
Morphe 35B Eyeshadow Palette
Last but definitely not least is the 35B palette. I love love love it. It has every single colour you could possibly think of in there, and it’s perfect for doing colourful looks. I’m a bit boring and tend to stick to the orange and red tones, but I’m looking forward to playing around with it a bit more!
Have you found any great make up bits on a budget lately? Let me know! I’m always on the lookout for new products to try!
